THE ENVELOPED FOOD MANUFACTURING APPARATUS (1) INCLUDES AN INNER FOOD MATERIAL FEEDING UNIT (13) CONTAINING A NOZZLE MEMBER (43) FOR EXTRUDING AN INNER FOOD MATERIAL, AND A FIRST LIFTING DRIVE UNIT FOR ADJUSTING A DISTANCE BETWEEN THE NOZZLE MEMBER (43) AND A PLACING MEMBER (34) FOR CLAMPING, IN ASSORTION WITH THE PLACING MEMBER (34), A CIRCUMFERENTIAL EDGE PORTION (3A) OF AN OUTER FOOD MATERIAL PLACED ON THE PLACING MEMBER (34),IN ORDER TO FORM A SEALED SPACE FORMED BY THE OUTER FOOD MATERIAL AND THE INNER FOOD MATERIAL FEEDING UNIT (13). A CONTROL UNIT (21) DRIVES THE FIRST LIFTING DRIVE UNIT TO KEEP THE SEALED SPACE WHILE THE INNER FOOD MATERIAL IS EXTRUDED. ACCORDINGLY, THE INNER FOOD MATERIAL CAN BE PREVENTED FROM LEAKING OUT FROM THE SEALING PORTION WHEN THE OUTER FOOD MATERIAL IS SEALED.
