Abstract

THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO THE USE OF A SEALING COMPOSITION FOR SEALING ROCK OR SOIL, WHEREIN THE SEALING COMPOSITION IS OBTAINABLE BY MIXING A SILICA SOL AND AT LEAST ONE GELLING AGENT, WHEREIN THE SILICA SOL HAS AN S-VALUE HIGHER THAN ABOUT 72%. THE INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO A METHOD FOR CUTTING OFF A LIQUID FLOW IN A LEAKING PART OR CAVITY BY INSERTING THE SEALING COMPOSITION.THE INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO A METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SEALING COMPOSITION AND A COMPOSITION OBTAINABLE FROM THE METHOD.
