Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para la produccion de cetocarotinoides por medio del cultivo de plantas, las cuales tienen alterada la actividad de la cetolasa en los petalos de las flores en comparacion con el tipo nativo, a las plantas geneticamente alteradas y su uso como productos alimentarios para humanos y animales y para la produccion de extractos de cetocarotinoides.
