Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para la refinacion de concentrado de metales preciosos y de acuerdo con dicho metodo, cuando menos el concentrado (9) de metales preciosos, gas de reaccion (10), fundente (11) y polvos de humero (12) que van a ser tratados se alimentan conjuntamente dentro del pozo de reaccion (3) de un horno de fundicion en suspension (1); en el horno de fundicion en suspension se crean fases separadas, mata (8) y escoria (7); la escoria creada en el horno de fundicion en suspension es conducida dentro de un horno electrico (2), de manera que se crea mata metalizada (14) y escoria de desecho (13). Posteriormente la mata (8) procedente del horno de fundicion en suspension se conduce a tratamiento hidrometalurgico (15), y la escoria conducida dentro del horno electrico se trata conjuntamente con un agente de reduccion y posiblemente en forma conjunta con un material que abate el punto de fusion o que mejora la fluidez, y la mata metalizada creada (14) se conduce ya sea a tratamiento hidrometalurgico (16) o de regreso dentro del horno de fundicion en suspension (1).
