Abstract

Se revelan ensayos para identificar pepticos y peptidomimeticos para promover la apoptosis en celulas, a traves de una trayectoria que incluye Inhibidor de Proteinas de Apoptosis (IAPs), ejemplificado por XIAP, y la proteina mitocondrial Smac/DIABOLO (en lo sucesivo Smac) y sus homologos. Tambien se revelan peptidomimeticos y peptidos enlazantes de IAP identificados a traves del uso del ensayo.
