Abstract

Un metodo para la deteccion de un acido nucleico blanco en una muestra que contiene una mezcla de acidos nucleicos. El metodo comprende: (a) proveer una superficie solida; (b) unir a la superficie solida una sonda de oligonucleotido complementaria con un segmento del acido nucleico blanco; (c) poner en contacto la superficie con la muestra y permitir asi que la sonda se una al acido nucleico blanco; (d) incubar el acido nucleico blanco unido con 4 tipos de nucleotido y un biocatalizador de replicacion y formar asi un ensamble de acido nucleico de hebras multiples, en donde por lo menos uno de los tipos de nucleotido es unido mediante un marcador; y (e) detectar el marcador en el ensamble de acido nucleico de hebras multiples y detectar asi el acido nucleico blanco. Asimismo, se describen un sistema para identificar una secuencia de acido nucleico blanco en una muestra y un equipo para usarse en el metodo.
