Abstract

Esta invencion se relaciona con nuevas composiciones de poliisocianato, con un procedimiento para estas composiciones de poliisocianato, con un procedimiento para la produccion de espumas moldeadas flexibles de curado en frio, donde esta nueva composicion de poliisocianato contiene el componente poliisocianato y con las espumas moldeadas flexibles de curado en frio producidas mediante este procedimiento. Las nuevas composiciones de poliisocianato de la presente invencion se caracterizan por un contenido en grupos NCO de mas de aproximadamente un 15% (preferiblemente de aproximadamente un 20% a menos de aproximadamente un 33%, mas preferiblemente de aproximadamente un 25% a aproximadamente un 32%) y consisten en: (1) de aproximadamente un 70 a un 99% en peso de un polimetilenpoli(isocianato de fenilo) que tiene un contenido en grupos NCO de aproximadamente un 30 a aproximadamente un 33% y un contenido en monomeros de aproximadamente un 40% a aproximadamente un 90% en peso, y (2)de aproximadamente un 1 a aproximadamente un 30% en peso de un prepolimero de diisocianato de difenilmetano que tiene un contenido en grupos NCO de aproximadamente un 2% a aproximadamente un 20% y que consiste en el producto de reaccion de: (a) diisocianato de difenilmetano y (b) un polieter poliol.
