Abstract

En la aplicacion y uso de articulos absorbentes, el contacto prolongado con el material de la hoja, especialmente en presencia de humedad de exudados o excreciones, tiene un efecto adverso sobre la salud de la piel de los usuarios. Se ha encontrado que un material de hoja superior mejorado para uso en la construccion de articulos absorbentes puede ser construido a partir de polimeros termoplasticos mezclados con ciertos agentes reductores de la friccion superficial. Estos agentes reductores de la friccion superficial son seleccionados a partir de aquellos utilizados en la fabricacion de materiales cosmeticos y asi se sabe que no tienen etiologia humana adversa. Ya que el material de hoja superior es formado a partir de peliculas o fibras extruidas termicamente, es requisito que los agentes reductores de friccion superficiales no tenga degradacion termica que afecte adversamente la superficie de contacto o la transferencia de fluidos a los elementos interiores de un articulo absorbente.
