Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con una proteina quimerica que contiene una secuencia similar a la caperona intramolecular (IMC) ligada a la proteina objetivo, de manera preferible un precursor de la insulina. La presente invencion tambien se relaciona con un proceso para obtener una proteina quimerica que contiene precursor de la insulina correctamente plegada, que comprende; inter alla, poner en contacto una proteina quimerica plegada de manera incorrecta que contiene una secuencia similar a la IMC ligada a un precursor de la insulina con al menos un agente auxiliar caotropico. La presente invencion tambien se relaciona con un ensayo para seleccionar una secuencia de aminoacidos por su capacidad para mejorar el plegado de un precursor de la insulina utilizando una proteina quimerica que contiene una secuencia similar a la IMC ligada a un precursor de la insulina.
