Abstract

Un compuesto de 1-metilcarbapenem, representado por la siguiente formula (I), en donde R1 representa un átomo de hidrogeno o un grupo alquilo inferior; R2 representa un átomo de hidrogeno o un residuo éster; y A representa un propilaminopirrolidin-1-ilcarbonilo sustituido, aminoalcanoilaminopirrolidin-1-ilcarbonilo sustituido, 1-hidroxi-2-(aminoalquilipirrolidin-1-ilcarbonil sustituido)etilo, 1-hidroxi-2-(piperazin-1-ilcarbonil sustituido)etilo y 1-hidroxi-2-(pirrolidinilaminocarbonil sustituido)etilo o similares; o una sal farmacologicamente aceptable del mismo; los compuestos de 1-metilcarbapenem de la presente invencion tienen excelente actividad antibacteriana y son agentes utiles para la prevencion o el tratamiento de enfermedades infecciosas.
