Abstract

La presente invencion está dirigida a un sistema de estructura absorbente/forro de permeabilidad igualada, adecuado para usarse en artículos absorbentes, en los cuales la permeabilidad del forro de lado al cuerpo está correlacionado con la permeabilidad de la capa subyacente de la estructura absorbente, tal como una capa de surgimiento. Los inventores han observado que mediante el igualar apropiadamente la permeabilidad del material de forro a la permeabilidad de la capa subyacente, el funcionamiento de adquisicion de líquido del forro y de los materiales de capa subyacentes pueden exceder el funcionamiento de adquisicion de líquido del material de capa subyacente solo. Por tanto, de acuerdo con una modalidad de la presente invencion, la permeabilidad del forro de lado al cuerpo se pone dentro de un rango especificado de aquél de la capa subyacente de manera que se mejora el funcionamiento de toma de líquido de la capa subyacente/forro. De acuerdo con otra modalidad de la presente invencion la permeabilidad del forro de lado al cuerpo es igualado a o correlacionado con la permeabilidad de la capa subyacente de manera que el funcionamiento de toma de líquido de la capa subyacente/forro se mejora por lo menos por alrededor de 50 por ciento sobre el funcionamiento de toma de líquido de la capa subyacente sola. De acuerdo con alguna otra modalidad de la presente invencion, la permeabilidad del material de forro es igualado a o correlacionado con la permeabilidad de la capa subyacente de manera que el funcionamiento de toma de líquido de la combinacion de capa subyacente/forro se mejora por lo menos por alrededor de 65 por ciento sobre el funcionamiento de toma de líquido de la capa subyacente sola. Como se describe aquí, mediante el seleccionar apropiadamente la permeabilidad del material de forro, en comparacion con la permeabilidad del material de capa subyacente, la tasa de toma de líquido del material de forro no solo limita o inhibe la toma de líquido adentro de la capa subyacente y de los componentes subyacentes de la estructura absorbente, sino que proporciona un aumento inesperado del funcionamiento de toma de líquido sobre aquél de la capa subyacente sola. El forro de lado al cuerpo y la capa subyacente pueden formarse adecuadamente de telas no tejidas fibrosas.
