Abstract

Se proporciona una clase novedosa de macrolidos en donde: i) las posiciones 2 a 6 inclusive del anillo macrociclico están provistas por un residuo de ácido piperidazinilcarboxílico; y/o ii) las posiciones 7 a 9 inclusive del anillo macrocíclico están provistas por un residuo de æ-aminoácido aromático; y/o iii) las posiciones 10 12 inclusive del anillo macrocíclico están provistas por un residuo de æ-aminoácido alifático, que comprende de preferencia 2, o especialmente los tres rasgos estructurales característicos i), ii), y iii), más especialmente un compuesto de la formula IX: (ver formula) que tienen propiedades inmunosupresoras y anti-inflamatorias, y formas protegidas y de anillo abierto de las mismas.
