Abstract
La invencion provee un sistema mejorada para el suministro de fármaco por electrotransporte para fármacos analgésicos, específicamente fentanilo y sufentanilo; se provee el fentanilo/sufentanilo como una sal de halogenuro soluble en agua (por ejemplo clorhidrato de fentanilo), contenido preferiblemente en una formulacion de hidrogel para su uso en un dispositivo de electrotransporte; de acuerdo con la presente invencion, el electrodo donador del dispositivo para suministro por electrotransporte esta constituido de plata y la reserva donadoras está substancialmente libre de fuentes suplementarias de iones de cloruro y contiene una carga predeterminada en "exceso" de halogenuro de fentanilo/sufentanilo para evitar la migracion de los iones de plata con la decoloracion epidérmica concomitante.
