Abstract
Una máquina formadora de cuerpos (15), que transforma copas metálicas de poca profundidad (16) en cuerpos de lata alargados, donde incluye un ariete recíprocamente (20) el cual, durante su carrera de avance, empuja las copas a través de un conjunto de estampas circulares graduadas (22). Limpiadores con forma de anillo (83, 84, 85) se acoplan con la superficie cilíndrica externa (70) del ariete y están ubicados o dispuestos de modo que el primero de los limpiadores raspa el refrigerante de la herramienta del ariete, conforme esteultimo se mueve hacia atrás, y el segundo de los limpiadores raspa el fluido de cojinete hidráulico del ariete, conforme este ultimo se mueve hacia adelante. Los limpiadores están provistos con aletas flexibles (89) que están en acoplamiento por friccion con el ariete, a una presion relativamente baja, lo que resulta solamente en aumento de temperatura muy bajo que incrementa la vida util de los limpiadores, a velocidades de produccion de aproximadamente 400 latas de 2.50 pulgadas (63.5 mm) de diámetro por minuto.
