Abstract

La invencion se refiere a nuevos procesos para preparar compuestos de la formula (2) este proceso comprende (A) deshidratar los compuestos de la formula (3), o (B) separar el compuesto de la formula (2) en estereoisomeros individuales, o (C) convertir el compuesto de la formula (2) a una sal de adicion de ácidos farmacéuticamente aceptable, o (D) convertir una sal de adicion de ácidos del compuesto de la formula (2) en la forma no salina, y de los compuestos de la formula (1) dicho proceso comprende (A) y (B) deshidratar el compuesto de la formula (3) e hidrogenar este compuesto para dar una mezcla diastereomérica de 1, o (C) separar la mezcla diastereomérica en estereoisomeros individuales o mezclas de ellos, o (D) convertir el compuesto de la formula (1) a una sal de adicion de ácidos farmacéuticamente aceptable, o (E) convertir una sal de adicion de ácidos del compuesto de la formula (1) a la forma salina. La invencion también se refiere al compuesto de la formula (3) y a un proceso para prepararlo. Los compuestos de las formulas (2 y 1) son potentes antagonistas del receptor de 5-HT3 y son utiles para tratar una condicion elegida de vomito, un desorden gastrointestinal, estado de ansiedad/depresivo, y dolor.
