Abstract

La presente invencion describe una mordaza de pedestal del bastidor lateral que acomoda un adaptador de cojinete, el cual traba o asegura el adaptador al bastidor lateral, evitando así todas las formas de movimiento dentro de la abertura de la mordaza de pedestal. Al trabar al adaptador de cojinete se fuerza al eje del vagon a permanecer en un ángulo recto con respecto a los bastidores laterales. Al mantener esta relacion angular recta, substancialmente se reduce el ladeamiento del vagon, lo cual induce a desalinear la rueda que conduce a una oscilacion del vagon indeseable y a una inestabilidad a alta velocidad.
