Abstract

Un aplicador para aplicar una cinta flexible en una hoja planar, que tiene una base, una mesa, un brazo robotico y una cabeza aplicadora. La cabeza aplicadora se transporta por el brazo robotico e incluye un soporte para recibir un carrete de cinta flexible. El brazo robotico mueve la cabeza aplicadora a través de sistema de coordenadas cartesianas respecto a la mesa. Un motor alimenta cinta flexible desde el carrete, sobre un brazo flotante a través de una pluralidad de rodillo. Un detector asociado con el brazo flotante mide la presion o posicion en un cilindro conectado al brazo flotante y envía una señal al motor para incrementar la velocidad si la presion del brazo flotantes es alta y disminuye la velocidad del motor si la presion del brazo flotante es baja. Una pluralidad de detectoresopticos determina la capa de cinta flexible que actualmente se retira del carrete y ajusta la velocidad del motor para regular la longitud variante del material que se retira por resolucion conforme se retiran capas concéntricas de cinta flexible del carrete.
