Abstract

Se suministran procedimientos para producir un ácido acrílico de grado puro, que tiene niveles residuales de aldehído menores de 10 partes por millon. Estos procedimientos aplican grupos seleccionados de aminas, en secuencia y preferiblemente en forma continua, para reducir selectivamente, por ejemplo, los niveles de la acroleína y del furfural, y los cuales pueden llevarse a cabo, ventajosamente, en la presencia de impurezas del ácido maléico y el anhídrido maléico.
