Abstract

Se preparan soluciones acuosas concentradas de gomas polisacáridas de baja viscosidad, usando ciertos copolímeros aniónicos solubles en agua como reductores de viscosidad. Estas soluciones de goma polisacárida de baja viscosidad se usan en la formulación de composiciones de espuma de lucha contra el fuego, de un solvente polar de baja viscosidad, especialmente concentrados '3x3' ('tres por tres'). Se ha encontrado que las composiciones de baja viscosidad de la presente invención tienen una estabilidad excepcional así como un desempeño significativamente mejorado para lucha contra el fuego.
