Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para el aislamiento de una fracción aromática de café por el que se extraen con la ayuda de un disolvente orgánico, las substancias aromáticas del café del medio acuoso que las contiene y se recoge la fracción aromática en el disolvente, caracterizado por el hecho de que se utiliza como disolvente orgánico, una mezcla azeotrópica de punto de ebullición inferior a 50°C aproximadamente y constituída al menos por un hidrocarburo no aromático y por lo menos por un hidrocarburo halogenado no aromático o un éter; de preferencia, la extracción se realiza a una temperatura de entre 20 y 30°C ó a la temperatura de ebullición de la mezcla azeotrópica utilizada.
