Abstract

La aleación de aluminio hipereutéctico incluye: de 14.00 a 25.00 % en peso de silicio; de 4.90 a 8.00 % en peso de cobre; de 0.05 a 0.90 % en peso de níquel; de 0.50 a 1.50 % en peso de magnesio; de 0.05 a 1.20 % en peso de hierro; de 0.05 a 1.00 % en peso de manganeso; de 0.05 a 1.00 % en peso de zinc; de 0.05 a 1.20 % en peso de titanio; de 0.05 a 1.20 % en peso de circonio; de 0.05 a 1.20 % en peso de vanadio; de 0.001 a 0.10 % en peso de fósforo; y el resto es aluminio. La aleación también puede incluir otros elementos traza, tales como el cromo, el plomo y el estaño, en una cantidad no superior al 0.20 % en peso. El rotor de freno de disco se forma mediante un proceso de colada semisólida en una matriz a alta presión que incluye la fundición reolítica.
