Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a regiones constantes de cadena pesada (referidas como "regiones constantes de cadena pesada modificadas"), o fragmentos de las mismas funcionalmente equivalentes, que mejoran las propiedades biológicas de anticuerpos con relación a los mismos anticuerpos en forma no modificada. Una región constante de cadena pesada modificada ejemplar incluye una bisagra de IgG2 y tres dominios constantes (es decir, dominios CH1, CH2, y CH3), en donde uno o más de los dominios de región constante son de un isotipo no IgG2 (por ejemplo, IgG1, IgG3 o IgG4). La región constante de cadena pesada puede comprender secuencias de dominio IgG humano tipo silvestre, o variantes de estas secuencias.
