Abstract

Una composición de grasa a base de sulfonato y un método de fabricación que comprende la adición de uno o más derivados de glicerol. El derivado de glicerol actúa para dispersar de manera óptima el espesante en la grasa de modo que la etapa convencional de homogeneizar la grasa puede no ser necesaria. El derivado de glicerol reacciona con agua para formar ácidos de formación de complejos in situ, que pueden reemplazar al menos algunos de los ácidos de formación de complejos utilizados normalmente para hacer reaccionar con bases que contienen calcio. Las grasas de acuerdo con modalidades preferidas tienen un elevado punto de goteo, rendimiento mejorado del espesante y tiempo de conversión más rápido.
