Abstract
La invención se refiere a un proceso para reducir la concentración de la impureza alquino fluorado, tal como 3,3,3-trifluoropropino (TFPY), en 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropeno (HFO-1234yf), que comprende poner en contacto dicha mezcla con un material cáustico, tal como hidróxido de sodio (NaOH), en condiciones eficaces para reducir la concentración de la impureza alquino fluorado, incluye, en algunas prácticas, reducir la concentración en al menos aproximadamente 50%.
