Abstract

Una formulación para una composición de caucho con olor reducido y una resistencia al envejecimiento oxidativo térmico y una resistencia a la fatiga por tensión buenas, que comprende 100 partes en peso de un elastómero de dieno, de 30 a 70 partes en peso de una carga de refuerzo, de 0.1 a 8 partes en peso de una composición antidegradante y de 0.5 a 3 partes en peso de un reticulante, en donde la composición antidegradante incluye un antidegradante de 6PPD con una pureza igual o superior a aproximadamente el 98 % y un S-TMQ. La composición de caucho no tiene ningún inhibidor/adsorbente de olores ni aditivo desodorizante añadido, mientras que mediante el uso de una combinación de un antidegradante de 6PPD con una pureza igual o superior a aproximadamente el 98 % y un S-TMQ en lugar de una combinación tradicional de un antidegradante de 6PPD y un antidegradante de TMQ, se reduce eficazmente la emisión de COV de la composición de caucho, se reduce el grado de olor y se mejora la resistencia al envejecimiento oxidativo térmico y la resistencia a la fatiga por tensión.
