Abstract
Se proporcionan aparatos, sistemas y métodos para tratar un ojo utilizando generación de onda de presión ab externo. El generador de onda de choque comprende un alojamiento que comprende una cámara llenada con fluido y una superficie en contacto con el ojo o una cámara configurada para establecer contacto con la superficie de un ojo. El primero y segundo electrodos alineados coaxialmente colocados dentro del alojamiento están configurados para generar un arco eléctrico a través de un espacio entre las puntas de electrodo cuando son energizadas y de esta manera producen una onda de choque en un fluido de la cámara llenada con fluido. El generador de onda de choque está acoplado a la superficie del ojo antes de enfocar una onda de choque en una ubicación predeterminada por encima o por debajo de la superficie del ojo. Una pluralidad de generadores de onda de choque se pueden colocar dentro de una cámara llenada con fluido de un lente de contacto, el cual puede comprender un globo de contacto.
