Abstract

Se dan a conocer nuevas aleaciones de colada (para fundición) de aluminio. Las nuevas aleaciones de colada de aluminio incluyen generalmente de 2.5 a 5.0% en peso de Mg, de 0.70 a 2.5% en peso de Si, en donde la relación de Mg/Si (en porcentaje en peso) es de 1.7 a 3.6, de 0.40 a 1.50% en peso de Mn, de 0.15 a 0.60% en peso de Fe, opcionalmente hasta 0.15% en peso de Ti, opcionalmente hasta 0.10% en peso de Sr, opcionalmente hasta 0.15% en peso de cualquiera de Zr, Sc, Hf, V y Cr, el resto es aluminio e impurezas inevitables. Las nuevas aleaciones de colada de aluminio pueden ser moldeadas a alta presión, tal como en componentes automotrices. Las nuevas aleaciones de aluminio se pueden suministrar en un temple F o T5, por ejemplo.
