Abstract
Un método para mejorar la calidad del agua del estanque utilizada en aplicaciones de acuicultura al agregar al agua del estanque bacterias activas que preferiblemente germinan de las esporas en el sitio usando una composición germinante de nutrientes y un método de incubación para aumentar la eficiencia de la germinación de esporas, en combinación con un agente de mejora de nitrificación tal como carbonato de calcio o algas calcificadas, y un modificador opcional del área de superficie de reacción tal como algas calcificadas o partículas o fragmentos de plástico o metal. La composición germinante de nutrientes comprende L-aminoácidos, D-glucosa y o D-fructosa, un tampón fosfato, un conservante industrial, y puede incluir esporas de bacterias (preferiblemente de una o más especies de Bacillus) o se pueden combinar por separado para germinación. El método de incubación comprende calentar una composición germinante de nutrientes y esporas de bacterias, a un rango de temperatura de 35 °C a 60 °C durante aproximadamente 2 a 60 minutos para producir una solución de bacterias incubadas que se descarga a la aplicación de acuicultura.
