Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a la prevención y/o control de infestación de especies de plagas de insectos. En particular, la invención se refiere a la sub-regulación de la expresión de genes objetivo en plagas de insectos que utilizan moléculas de ácido ribonucleico (ARN) interferente. También se describen plantas transgénicas que (i) expresan o son capaces de expresar ARNs interferentes de la invención y (ii) son resistentes a la infestación de especies de plagas de insectos. También se proveen composiciones que contienen los ARN interferentes de la invención.
