Abstract
Un proceso para calentar artículos en un sistema de calentamiento incluye pasar un artículo en un portador a través de una cámara de calentamiento que se llena al menos parcialmente con un medio líquido para formar un baño líquido. El proceso incluye además calentar el artículo en el portador sumergiendo al menos parcialmente el artículo en el baño líquido durante el calentamiento, el calentamiento que se realiza, al menos en parte, utilizando energía de microondas. El proceso incluye además uno o más de agregar fluido y eliminar fluido de al menos una ubicación en la cámara de calentamiento para mantener un perfil de temperatura a través de la cámara de calentamiento. En una implementación, la temperatura del baño líquido en un área de entrada de la cámara de calentamiento es al menos 10°C más fría que la temperatura del baño líquido en un área de salida de la cámara de calentamiento.
