Abstract
Se describen las formulaciones que contienen silibinina u otros ingredientes activos incorporados en los sistemas de nanopartículas de lípidos del tipo SLN y NLC, y se basan en calixarenos, posiblemente mucoadhesivos o en sistemas micelares y de nanopartículas con base en copolímeros de inulina anfifílicos para uso en el tratamiento de enfermedades oculares neurodegenerativas, la versatilidad del compuesto de calixareno también se describe, capaz de cargar y liberar los ingredientes activos caracterizados para baja solubilidad en agua, fácil degradación química y enzimática, baja biodisponibilidad, ya sea de origen natural o no, para usarse en el tratamiento de enfermedades oculares.
