Abstract
La presente invención proporciona métodos y composiciones que comprenden una composición de tinta ferromagnética no tóxica. También se proporcionan en el presente documento objetos de plástico que contienen un revestimiento superficial de una composición de tinta ferromagnética segura para alimentos. El revestimiento imparte funcionalidad a un objeto plástico de tal manera que el objeto es capaz de separarse mecánicamente de la corriente de desechos utilizando un separador magnético comercial. La composición de tinta segura para alimentos, que puede imprimirse utilizando impresión por flexografía, huecograbado, offset o tampografía de alta velocidad, combinada con impresión por transferencia de calor o estampado en caliente, consiste en un pigmento ingerible magnéticamente susceptible capaz de hacer que la plantilla impresa sea magnéticamente activa propiedades. La superficie del objeto plástico descrito puede consistir en diseños geométricos que aumentan el área de superficie imprimible sin cambios significativos en las dimensiones de dicho objeto.
