Abstract
La invención se refiere a un proceso para elaborar un aducto de urea cíclica de un compuesto de etilenamina, el compuesta de etilenamina que se selecciona del grupo de etilenaminas e hidroxietiletilenaminas y que comprende por lo menos una porción de -NH-0H2??0H2-NH- y por lo menos dos porciones de etileno, en donde el compuesto de etilenamina se hace reaccionar con 002 en la presencia de un compuesto auxiliar seleccionado de etilendiamina (EDA), monoetanolamina (MEA) y mezclas de las mismas, la proporción molar de compuesto auxiliar a compuesto de amina que es de por lo menos 0.02:1. Se ha encontrado que la presencia de un compuesto auxiliar seleccionado de etilendiamina (EDA), monoetanolamina (MEA) y mezclas de las mismas conduce a un aumento substancial del régimen de reacción en comparación con un proceso en donde el compuesto auxiliar no está presente.
