Abstract
Se proporcionan materiales y métodos para mejorar rasgos vegetales y para proporcionar beneficios de adaptación vegetal. En algunas modalidades, los materiales y métodos que emplean estos, pueden comprender endófitos. Un método para mejorar un rasgo agrícola en una planta agrícola, el método comprende: a. proporcionar una planta agrícola, semilla o tejido de esta, b. poner en contacto dicha planta, semilla o tejido de esta con una formulación que comprende un endófito que es común para al menos dos tipos de plantas donantes que está presente en la formulación en una cantidad eficaz para colonizar la planta, y c. cultivar las plantas en condiciones que permitan que el endófito mejore un rasgo en la planta.
