Abstract

Se describe en la presente un producto fertilizante granulado que tiene al menos dos fuentes de boro que tienen diferentes solubilidades para confeccionar disponibilidad de boro durante la temporada de crecimiento completo de una planta, mientras reduce el riesgo de toxicidad por boro. Una primera fuente de boro puede incluir un compuesto de boro basado en sodio o altamente soluble en agua tal como tetraborato de sodio y/o ácido bórico, mientras que una segunda fuente de boro puede incluir un compuesto de boro basado en calcio tal como colemanita (CaB3O4(OH)3.(H2O)) (por ejemplo, cuando el fertilizante portador se basa en N o K) y/o fosfato de boro (BPO4) (por ejemplo, cuando el fertilizante portador se basa en P). La solubilidad de la primera fuente de boro es más alta que la solubilidad de la segunda fuente de boro de tal manera que las fuentes de boro tienen diferentes velocidades de liberación en el suelo.
