La invención se refiere a un sistema para evaluar un estado de salud de un usuario que comprende una unidad de sensor, una unidad de monitoreo y una unidad de almacenamiento; la unidad de sensor comprende al menos un sensor ocular; el al menos un sensor ocular está adaptado para obtener una señal óptica reflejada de un ojo y/o tejidos circundantes del usuario; la unidad del sensor se puede montar en un dispositivo portátil; la unidad de monitoreo está conectada a la unidad del sensor; la unidad de monitoreo está adaptada para derivar datos relacionados con una actividad ocular del usuario procesando la señal óptica; los datos relacionados con la actividad ocular del usuario se incluyen en la señal óptica; la unidad de almacenamiento está conectada a la unidad de monitoreo; la unidad de almacenamiento está adaptada para almacenar los datos derivados relacionados con la actividad ocular del usuario y los datos registrados; la unidad de monitoreo está adaptada además para obtener los datos registrados de la unidad de almacenamiento; la unidad de monitoreo se adapta además para evaluar el estado de salud del usuario comparando los datos registrados con los datos derivados relacionados con la actividad ocular del usuario; además, la invención se refiere a un método para evaluar el estado de salud del usuario.
