Abstract
Se describe un sistema para monitorear al menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico, el sistema comprende un dispositivo de medición (1) adaptado para ser puesto sobre o implantado en un ojo de un paciente para medir el por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico del ojo, un dispositivo de registro (6) para obtener del dispositivo de medición (1) datos de medición representativos del valor instantáneo del por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico del ojo, en donde el dispositivo de registro está adaptado para obtener los datos de medición a una frecuencia predeterminada igual a o mayor que el doble de la frecuencia de variación del por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico. Se describe también un método que comprende monitorear al menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico de un ojo de un paciente usando un dispositivo de medición (1) adaptado para ser puesto sobre o implantado en un ojo de un paciente para medir el por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico del ojo, obtener del dispositivo de medición (1) una pluralidad de datos de medición representativos del valor del por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico del ojo medido a una frecuencia predeterminada, en donde la frecuencia predeterminada es igual o mayor que el doble de la frecuencia de variación del por lo menos un parámetro oftálmico biomecánico, analizar al menos parcialmente en forma automática la pluralidad de datos de medición para poder determinar una condición oftálmica del ojo.
