Abstract
La presente descripción proporciona una espuma de elastómero de poliuretano formada mediante la reacción de una mezcla que incluye de 60 a 50 por ciento en peso (% en peso) de una formulación de poliol y de 40 a 50% en peso de prepolimero de isocianato (% en peso en función del peso total de la mezcla). La formulación de poliol incluye de 85 a 92% en peso de un éter de politetrametilenglicol (PTMEG) con un peso molecular promedio en peso de 1900 a 2100 y un número de hidroxilo de alrededor de 53 a alrededor de 60; de 4 a 10% en peso de monoetilenglicol; un agente de soplado; un catalizador; y un tensioactivo (valores de % en peso para la formulación de poliol en función del peso total de la formulación de poliol). El prepolímero de isocianato incluye de 55 a 70% en peso de una mezcla de isocianato que tiene al menos 90% en peso de diisocianato de 4,4'-difenilmetano; y de 30 a 45% en peso del PTMEG, en donde el prepolímero de isocianato tiene un contenido de isocianato de 16 a 21% en 20 función del peso total del prepolïmero de isocianato, y la espuma de elastómero de poliuretano tiene un rebote de pelota de al menos 50% medido de acuerdo con ASTM D3574 en una placa de prueba de 10 mm de espesor.
