Abstract

Un dispositivo guardería sumergible para el cultivo artificial de corales en arrecifes someros, comprendido por dos configuraciones de tendederos, uno en cuadrilátero y la otra en cruz, comprendidos por unas cuerdas verticales ancladas inferiormente al fondo marino y superiormente tensadas por unas boyas flotadoras; dichas cuerdas atraviesan tubos cilíndricos de polipropileno; dichos tubos están interconectados a los tubos más próximos por cuerdas horizontales, una superior, una inferior y una central, para formar tres planos horizontales, para instalar respectivas mallas contentivas de unos sustratos o galletas para el asentamiento de larvas de coral; cada tubo internamente tiene incorporado un mecanismo electromecánico con piñones que atrapan la cuerda vertical y permite hacer ascender o descender los planos horizontales; este mecanismo es activado manualmente, por una batería o un panel solar. Un sensor de temperatura sumergido mediante una tarjeta de control activa el mecanismo para su ascenso o descenso a la temperatura requerida.
