Abstract

En la presente se describen secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican una proteína insecticida que presenta una actividad inhibidora sobre los lepidópteros, así como también nuevas proteínas insecticidas a las que se hace referencia en la presente como BCW 001, BCW 002, BCW 003, y quimeras que contienen proteína tóxica BCW e insecticida toxinas BCW, plantas transgénicas que expresan las quimeras o el insecticida, y métodos para detectar la presencia de las secuencias de nucleótidos o el insecticida en una muestra biológica.
