Abstract
Se proporciona un acero inoxidable ferrítico que tiene una excelente resistencia y resistencia a la corrosión por ácido y un método de fabricación del mismo. El acero inoxidable ferrítico de acuerdo con una modalidad de la presente descripción incluye, en % en peso, de 0.1% a 0.2% de carbono (C), de 0.005% a 0.05% de nitrógeno (N), de 0.01% a 0.5% de manganeso (Mn), de 12.0% a 19.0% de cromo, de 0.01% a 0.05% de níquel (Ni), de 0.3% a 1.5% de cobre (Cu), el resto de hierro (Fe) y otras impurezas inevitables, en donde un número de carburos que tienen un diámetro de 100 nm o más por unidad de área es de 50 es/100 µm2 a 200 ea/ 100 µm2.
