Abstract
La invención se refiere a un pistón (1) para un motor de combustión interna, pistón que esta constituido de una parte superior (2) y una parte inferior (3) que se unen una con otra, siendo que se proporciona un canal de refrigeración (8) que tiene al menos una abertura de entrada (9) y/o al menos una abertura de salida (13) para un refrigerante. El pistón se caracteriza porque se forman tanto una elevación (10) a manera de dique en la región de la abertura de entrada (9) y/o la abertura de salida (13) mediante un contorno completamente forjado de la región de canal de refrigeración inferior así como también mediante forja preliminar el contorno de entrada (12) de la abertura de entrada (9) y/o abertura de salida (13) en el lado interior (11) del pistón (1).
