Abstract

La invención se refiere a un pistón (1), en particular para un motor de combustión interna, que tiene una parte inferior de pistón (2) y una parte superior de pistón (3), un canal de refrigeración (5), de preferencia anular, situado en el interior, y al menos una abertura de entrada (10) dispuesta en la parte inferior de pistón (2) y al menos una abertura de salida (11) dispuesta en la parte inferior de pistón (2), por vía de cuya abertura de entrada y abertura de salida tiene lugar una entrada y una salida de refrigerante al interior y fuera del canal de refrigeración (5), en donde la al menos una abertura de entrada (10) y/o la al menos una abertura de salida (11) se forma(n) mediante un pasadizo (12), y éste último se forma integral con la parte inferior de pistón (2), siendo que el al menos un pasadizo (12) tiene una rosca (14) en la cual se inserta al menos un elemento tubular (15, 115). La invención también se refiere a un método para regular el nivel de refrigerante en un canal de refrigeración (5) de un pistón (1), en particular para motores de combustión interna, que tiene en el canal de refrigeración (5) al menos una abertura de entrada (10) y/o abertura de salida (11), formada por un pasadizo (12), en donde el nivel de refrigerante en el canal de refrigeración (5) se ajusta mediante un elemento tubular ajustable (15, 115).
