Abstract
Un regulador de flujo para un sistema de gas natural comprimido (CNG) se define mediante un alojamiento que tiene al menos un puerto de entrada, al menos un puerto de salida y al menos un conducto interior que interconecta fluidamente los puertos de entrada y salida; una válvula de derivación mecánica se ubica entre los puertos de entrada y salida y se habilita mediante una característica sesgada móvil que se mueve en base a la presión de entrada y en la cual la válvula de derivación se cierra solo después de que la presión de entrada es mayor que un umbral predeterminado; la válvula de derivación es un mecanismo de seguridad, en donde la regulación del gas no ocurre hasta que la presión de entrada sea suficiente para cerrar la válvula de derivación; el regulador de flujo incluye, además, una cubeta refrigerante definida por un canal serpenteante formado en una placa refrigerante así como una válvula de compensación como una característica de control de regulador en conjunto con un mecanismo de carga o ponderación que tiene un diafragma.
