Abstract
Un espectrómetro de movilidad de iones (100) con modificación de iones que comprende una entrada de muestras (108) que comprende una abertura dispuesta para permitir que una muestra de fluido gaseoso, a ser ionizada, fluya desde una región de presión ambiental hasta una región de baja presión del espectrómetro de movilidad de iones; un controlador (200) dispuesto para controlar la presión del gas en la región de baja presión para que sea inferior a la presión ambiental; y un modificador de iones (126, 127, 202) configurado para modificar iones en la región de baja presión, en donde los iones se obtienen a partir de la muestra de gas.
