Abstract
Un método para estimar un nivel de daño a la carga perecedera durante la transportación de la carga utilizando datos recolectados por un dispositivo de monitoreo portátil. El método incluye medir los datos de vibración asociados con la carga. Los datos de vibración se monitorean por un sensor de vibración del dispositivo de monitoreo portátil. El método además incluye incrementar un contador en el dispositivo de monitoreo portátil en respuesta a una multitud de los datos de vibración medidos que exceden un umbral predeterminado. El método también incluye determinar si el valor del contador excede un valor predeterminado, y generar una alerta que indica el daño a la carga en respuesta a la determinación del valor del contador que ha excedido el valor predeterminado.
