Abstract
Se describen en la presente modalidades de un aparato de tratamiento térmico bifurcado y métodos para el tratamiento térmico localizado del cuello de bastón de golf o cabeza del bastón de golf. El método de tratamiento térmico comprende un proceso bifurcado, en el cual la cabeza del bastón de golf es tratada en la primera unidad de calentamiento vía calentamiento por inducción y luego es trasladada a la segunda unidad de calentamiento para calentamiento por convección. Ambas etapas son para localizar el tratamiento térmico del cuello. El aparato de tratamiento térmico también puede incluir un componente de enfriamiento, tal como un disipador de calor, para asegurar que el cuerpo de la cabeza del bastón permanezca a la temperatura correcta durante la segunda etapa de calentamiento, cuando el cuello es calentado en aislamiento. El método bifurcado y aparato en general del tratamiento térmico localizado conducen a un cuello o cabeza del bastón de golf con por lo menos dos valores de dureza diferentes para permitir la manipulación del material sin agrietamiento ni fractura.
