Abstract

Los métodos pueden incluir la modificación de las propiedades de cristalización de una composición polimérica que incluye una poliolefina y un agente de nucleación con la estructura (I): en donde R1 y R2 son independientemente seleccionados de hidrogeno, alquilo, alquenilo, o arilo, en donde el alquilo, alquenilo, o arilo puede estar sustituido con uno o mas grupos carboxilato y M es un metal seleccionado del Grupo I de la tabal periódica; o en donde R1 o R2 son independientemente hidrogeno, alquilo, alquenilo, o arilo con la condición de que al menos uno de R1 o R2 es una cadena de carbono que tiene 1 a 12 carbonos con al menos uno de los carbonos en la cadena de carbono covalentemente unida a la poliolefina, y en donde el alquilo, alquenilo, o arilo puede estar sustituido con uno o mas grupos carboxilato; y M es un metal seleccionado del Grupo I de la tabla periódica.
