Abstract

Se describen materiales y método para la recuperación de metales preciosos. Las soluciones de lixiviación utilizables son preferiblemente de base acuosa e incluyen materiales apropiados en cantidades suficientes para solubilizar y estabilizar metales preciosos. Tales materiales incluyen típicamente material oxidante. Parte o todo el material oxidante puede, en algunos casos, generarse en el sitio. La solución de lixiviación generalmente se pone en contacto con un sustrato que tiene un metal precioso objetivo, solubilizando de esta manera el metal precioso para formar una solución estable y impregnante. El metal precioso puede recuperarse posteriormente de la solución impregnante. En algunos casos, los componentes de la solución de lixiviación pueden regenerarse y reutilizarse en Ia lixiviación posterior.
