Abstract
Un aparato (1) para tratar una estera (10) de fibras minerales que se mueve a lo largo de plano y una dirección (X) de corrida, para la detección y eliminación de defectos (M) localizados, comprende: - un primer miembro 2 de transporte, - un segundo miembro (3) de transporte, colocado después del primer miembro de transporte en la dirección (X) de corrida y separado del mismo en tal dirección por una zona (4) de tratamiento, - un dispositivo (5) para detectar defectos localizados en la estera de fibras (10) minerales, corriente arriba de la zona de tratamiento en la dirección (X) de corrida, y - en la zona (4) de tratamiento, un dispositivo (6) para eliminar defectos adecuado para eliminación en línea, un defecto (M) detectado por el dispositivo (5) de detección al eliminar la porción de estera que lo contiene.
